Thanks for contacting the Library.

There are numerous studies of emotion but I am not quite sure what is meant by having to do with a public service announcement.  Do you mean how do public service announcements impact a viewer's or listener's emotion?  How do they evoke emotions?  Maybe you can clarify what you mean by this connection.

In the meantime, I can direct you to some studies of emotion and public service announcements.  Go to the Library page.  Click Find Articles.

On the next screen, you will see links to our databases.  Click ALL EBSCO to search in EBSCO-hosted databases.

The best way to start is by entering keywords related to your topic.  In this example, I simply entered emotion AND public service announcement.

Click Search and results will appear.  You can scan the list to see if there are relevant articles.  To limit to Full Text or Peer Reviewed Journals only, click the box in the Limiters column on the left.

If you find an article you like, click its title or the full text link.  You can also look at the Subjects listing with each article to identify additional search terms you can use in your searching.  It helps to generate synonyms and similar keywords.  It might take several searches to come up with the results that will work.

There are plenty of books on emotion, too.  Go back to the Library home page and click the Find Books link.  Enter your search terms and you will get results there as well.

If this is not what you were after, feel free to reply with additional information about your topic.

Sincerely,

Laura Rice, Argosy University Library Services
