I need to order copies of a couple articles and one book
The first step is to verify that the articles aren't hiding in another database, by searching for the Journal title in the A-Z of Online Journal titles (the top link on the list on the Find Articles page in the Online Library). If your specific journal is not there, or if the specific year you need is not covered, then you would perform an InterLibrary Loan (ILL) request via ILLiad.
The entry point for first time users, who have not created an account yet is to go to http://argosy.illiad.oclc.org/illiad/FirstTime.html and read the specifics and then click on the button on the bottom of the page. Fill out the form, and we do require a full street address for anything we have to send to you physically (No PO boxes - we use FedEx). Remember your login information and only fill it out once! When you have logged in to the ILLiad account, for any unavailable articles you would go to "Photocopy" under the red "New Request" category on the left. There is an option for "Book" over there too. (Just so you know, we do not allow people to request required textbooks for courses.)
(Or, if you have found the citation in one of the databases and have clicked on the "Look for Full-Text" link beneath the citation and it did not find your article, you could click on the "Request via ILLiad" link, which asks you to log in and will fill out the form properly for you! Much faster that way.)
Bookmark the ILLiad login page http://argosy.illiad.oclc.org/illiad/logon.html so you can easily get back to it and retrieve articles that have been delivered to you. Articles requested will be electronically delivered to your ILLiad box (under View you go to "Electronically Delivered Articles") and you should receive an email to the email address you used when signing up, indicating the status (whether we could not receive it or when it is delivered).
