What is first person passive voice? My instructor wants us to write in that voice.
Passive voice means that the subject is acted upon in a sentence. This means that the action is done to the subject, as opposed to by the subject. Sentences that are written in first person, mean that the subject of the sentence is "I" or "myself" in the singular form or "we" in the plural form. An example of a sentence in first person passive voice would be "I was hit by the ball."
