The PsycARTICLES/PsycINFO database allows you to limit your search reviews. Choose Systematic Review or Literature Review in the Methodology box in the Advanced Search.
Most other ProQuest databases, such as Education Journals, Nursing & Allied Health, Psychology Journals and Social Science Journals, have the Literature Review option in the Advanced Search screen, under Document Type. In ERIC, you can use the “literature reviews” subject heading to search.
In ScienceDirect, go to the Journals Tab in Advanced Search and select Review Article under Limit by Document Type.
In databases where these options are not built in, you can use terms like “review” or “literature review.” For example, searching a database for: "smoking cessation AND systematic review."
To access the databases, click on FIND NOW under Find Articles on the library homepage. On the Find Articles & More page, you will find an alphabetical list of the databases.
