How do I find dissertations from a specific school? (Argosy University or other)

Answer

This works whether you are looking for an Argosy University dissertation or a dissertation from a particular school as long as the dissertation is in the Digital Dissertations database.

Access the Library homepage.
Click the “Find Now” button under “Find Dissertations” on the main library page.
Click on the link to the Digital Dissertations collection from ProQuest.

You can access dissertations from a specific school from the Basic Search (quick) and the Advanced Search (recommended).

From the Basic Search screen:  Type in  SCH(“school name”) and press Enter.  For example, you could type SCH(argosy).
From the Advanced Search screen: Type in the school name.   From the dropdown menu to the right of the search box, select “School name/code – SCH” and press Enter.

We recommend the Advanced Search because you can choose specific date ranges or subject areas before submitting your request.

If you experience difficulities, please contact the Librarian or Learning Support Specialist for your particular college (Either on campus or online).
