Q. I'm trying to search for recent periodical or journal articles that give examples of activities by businesses using supply chains.

I am an anline student earning my MBA at Argosy University. This question is for my business course B6110 AO1. Thanks

Answer

There are a number of business-related databases in the Online Library for this type of research. After launching the Online Library, click on BUSINESS under Browse by Field. On the Business page, you will find an alphabetical list of databases for your research. For this question, try the databases ABI/INFORM Complete and/or Business Source Elite.

In both of these databases, you can limit your search to full text articles and peer reviewed (scholarly) journals. You can also specify a date range. You can search by keywords like “supply chain” AND “strategy” or “supply chain” AND “business.” If you have a more specific supply chain issue or company, you can search with this information as your keywords.

See the Business Resources Online guide for more on resources for your business research.
