Q. How do I find information on social technology and social media technology for my research?

Explain how social technology has changed the way people are communicating professionally and personally? How do you use social media technology? What risks or benefits are there to using such tools for personal or professional communication? I need to do research to find the answer to these question.

On the library homepage, click on Find Articles. On the Find Articles & More page, choose the database SIRS Issues Researcher

In SIRS, go to the Pro vs. Con section and choose "Online Social Networks." You may want also look at "Technology & Privacy" and "Web 2.0." You will be able to find articles on the leading issues for your topic, as well as articles from numerous sources, topic overviews, statistics, and timelines.

Another database to use on the Find Articles & More page is eLibrary Academic. Try searches for "social media" or "online social networks."
