Q. How can I find articles on child molestation?


Depending on what type of information you want on the topic of "child molestation," you have a number of sources in the Online Library to choose from. On the library homepage, click on FIND NOW under Find Articles. On the Find Articles & More page, you will find an alphabetical list of the databases for articles. The following would be of use for this topic:

  • Credo Reference (for background information from encyclopedias and other reference works, NOT peer reviewed articles)
  • Health and Medical Complete (for information from a medical perspective, can limit to peer review or scholarly sources)
  • ProQuest Central (covers multiple subject areas and disciplines in one search, this database includes ProQuest Psychology databases, can limit to peer review or scholarly sources)
  • Psychology & Behavioral Sciences Collection (for articles from psychiatry and psychology publications, can limit to peer review or scholarly sources)
  • SIRS Issues Researcher (for background information including articles from newspapers and magazines, NOT peer reviewed articles)
You may want to also search for articles using the term "child abuse" as well.
