Q. I am trying to search for a journal article that researches curriculum and instruction in primary grades


There are several databases in the library that you may find useful.  Try Education Journals and Science Direct.


Here's an example of how to search.

From the library home page, click Find Now under Find Articles and More. 

Scroll down and choose the “Education Journals” link.

Once the ProQuest interface appears, Click on Advanced Search

Use simple search terms.

For example, in the first box, type curriculum

In the second box, type primary.  In the box that says, “all fields plus text,” pull down “Document Title – TI).

Below, under Search options, click the Full Text and Peer Reviewed boxes, then

Click Search.
