Is there a required username and password to search in ProQuest?

Answer

There are no usernames or passwords needed to search in the ProQuest database as access is through the online library. To do this, first launch the library and then on the homepage, click on the link for "find now" directly beneath where it says "find articles." On the new page, "find articles and more," you'll see links for all of the databases in the online library including ones for the many different ProQuest databases the library subscribes to. ProQuest Central is the largest and a good starting point when doing research. If you do encounter a message asking you to enter a username and password it is usally an indication that your session has timed out and you will need to start a new one.
