Q. Are there usernames and passwords for the online library?

When I try to access a reading for my class on my phone it says that I need a library password and username. The username and password that I use to get into class does not work.

Answer

You do not use a separate username and password to access the databases in the Online Library. You only need to login to the student portal (Campus Common) and then launch the library from there; or launch the Online Library from your online class.

If you see a screen that asks for a library username and password, your session may have timed out. You may need to re-login to the student portal (Campus Common) and re-launch the library.

Sometimes URLs or links are no longer valid and may take you to a login screen. If this is the case, you will need to locate the article or document through a different method in the Online Library (like using the A-Z Online Journal Titles database or ProQuest Central, for example).

If you're still encountering problems, please call the Online Library at 888.559.7579.
