Q. I am trying to search Air safety precautions preventing aviation disasters (most recent stats) according to NTSB (National Transportation Safety Board

.)

Answer

Hi John,

In looking at your question, I am wondering if I need to rephrase it to answer it.

The NTSB is empowered to investigate air crashes and to issue safety recommendations.  It cannot issue regulations.

To find recommendations, go to this web address, http://www.ntsb.gov/safety/safety_recs.html

It looks like the federal governments regulations for aircraft are found in Title 14 of the Code of Federal Regulations.  Go here for that http://www1.airweb.faa.gov/Regulatory_and_Guidance_Library/rgFAR.nsf/MainFrame?OpenFrameSet

You can find much information about the US government's standards for air safety from the web page of the Federal Aviation Administration devoted to Regulations and Policies, http://www.faa.gov/regulations_policies/

I don't know if this will answer your question.  If not, then contact us again.
