On the library homepage, click on FIND NOW under Find Articles. On the Find Articles & More page, you can select the database(s) that you need.
For this subject area, you will want to search in a psychology database like:
- PsycARTICLES/PsycINFO
- Psychology Journals
- Psychology and Behavioral Sciences Collection
In all of these databases, you can limit your search to full text and peer reviewed articles (if needed). You will then need to search for your keywords, for example:
- empathetic listening
- empathy AND listening
- empathy AND communication
The database Credo Reference allows you to locate definitions and encyclopedia entries for many words and topics. On the library page, go to Quick Reference at the top of the page and choose Reference Databases. Click on Credo Reference. You can then search for "empathy."
