Q. discoveries and identity transformation of women addicts in treatment

Hi Barb,

To research this topic, I think using the PsycINFO database is a good place to start. You can find it in the online library under "Find Articles." You can use "women," and "addiction" and "treatment" as key words, and then try adding "identity" or similar terms as a key word. Or you can try "women" and "drug rehabilitation" and "identity." You may need to think of additional ways to describe discoveries or identity transformation, or even other words for women addicts, it could be drug addiction, alcoholism, etc.Try not to start your search too specific, or you may get too few or no articles. it's better to start out a little more broad, and then narrow your search: either by clicking on "Subject" ont he right hand side, or choosing other limiters.

You can also check the dissertations, Under "Find Dissertations." Sometimes you can look at the references used for a dissertation on a similar topic.

Let me know how that works for you. I'm more than happy to help you further.
