My research is on Buddhism and Islam history. How do I use online library to locate information?

Answer

If you need sources from books, on the library homepage, go to the Find Books button on the library homepage. From the list of databases, click on NetLibrary. here you can search for either Buddhism or Islam. If you want to find more books, go to ebrary on the Find Books page and conduct the same searches.

For background information, on the Find Books page, go to Credo Reference. This source provides briefer articles from encyclopedias and other reference books.

For articles from newspapers and magazines (as well as some reference books), use SIRS Renaissance. To use this database, go to the Find Articles button on the library homepage. You will find SIRS  Renaissance in the alphabetical list.

If you need to limit to peer reviewed articles, use the database Religion (found on the Find Articles page as well).
