I am looking for articles on distractions while driving

Answer

Thanks for contacting the online library.  The more specific you can be in your search terms, the better types of results you will get in terms of thinking about texting, making phone calls, etc.

I would first recommend checking out the database SIRS Issues Researcher. While it does not contain peer reviewed articles, it does present articles from a debate standpoint as in issues that are controversial in nature/have a pro versus con side. If you do a search of distracted driving, you should retrieve results on the topic as this is an issue that SIRS has identified as a Leading Issue.  This means that they've pooled the resources together for you all on one page.

To access SIRS simply launch the library, click on the Database List button, then hit the letter S and then click on the link for SIRS Issues Reseacher

Other databases I would recommend examining are ProQuest Central & Research Library (both accessible on the Database List). Once you select a database you can search for articles using key terms like:

"distracted driving"

Also, consider specific instances of distracted driving and try searching for them as well.

texting and "effects on driving"

"cell phone distractions" AND driving

You can also select full text and peer reviewed filters.
