I am working on an argumentative essay in Eng 101 A08 . I am a online student here at Argosy University. My thesis statement is: Professionals who have arrest records or have served prison time are more qualified than others to work with prisoners and parolees.

Hi Tricia-Thank you for contacting the Online Library. I suggest starting with Pro Quest Central (found in the online library under "find articles & more.") Doing an advanced search, you could use these terms (or mix and match them):

ex-offenders AND work* AND prisoners

ex-offenders AND work* AND parolees

ex-convicts AND work* AND prisoners

The * will bring back different forms of the word work: workers, working, etc.

Make sure you check the full-text and peer-reviewed journals boxes.
