January 2009 Ice storm hit Central Plains and Midwest. Kentucky Arkansas, Illinois, Missiouri. In Northeast Arkansas at Walnut Ridge Regional Airport, electric companies come and stayed and worked all over the surrounding counties putting poles up and getting electric turned on.

  • "ice storm" AND Arkansas
  • "ice storm" AND Kentucky

You can also search for "ice storm" and limit the publication date to 2009.  

If you are looking for academic articles on thsi topic, I would recommend using the same search terms as above and searching ProQuest Central.
