Q. How do I know if the articles I'm searching for peer-reviewed?

I'm looking for a peer-reviewed article for the Muslim religion, and a peer-reviewed article for the Judaism religion

Answer

Hi Jade,

The easiest way to search for peer-reviewed articles is to check off the box that says peer-reviewed.  For your search for articles on Islam and Judaism, I would recommend searching the Religion database.  You can find this database in the alphabetical list under Find Articles and More.  From there I would do two separate searches.  One using the term Islam, and one using the term Judaism.  Below the search bar, there will be a box that says peer-reviewed.  Be sure you check that off.  This will bring back exclusively peer-reviewed articles in your results.  You may also wish to check off the box for full text to only bring back records with the full text article attached.
