I would recommend the following databases:

  • Criminal Justice Abstracts with Full Text
  • Criminal Justice Periodicals

I would recommend using the advanced search in both of these databases.  For search terms, I would recommend:

  • victim AND defendant sentenc*
  • victim AND sentenc*

I would recommend checking the box for full text.  This will bring back exclusively records with the full text article attached.  If you need scholarly or peer-reviewed articles, be sure to check the box for peer-reviewed as well.  Be sure you enter the search terms as they are listed above.  The * will bring back sentence, sentencing, etc.
