I need history of the American Consitution

Thank you for contacting the Online Library. You can find information on the history of the Constitution here: http://www.archives.gov/exhibits/charters/constitution.html If you click on "questions and answers pertaining to...." you will see all kinds of facts about it.

For a library source, Literati by Credo has a good topic page on the Constitution. You can access Literati by clicking on the link on the homepage. Once there, click on "topic pages," then history-United States. If you click on the letter "C" you can scroll down to Constitution. The topic page is a compilation of encyclopedia entries and other sources.
