I am researching lemon laws, "as is" warranty, and the consumers right when sold a car under false pretenses. I know several states have these laws but I am not finding more than brief sentences, which do not help me in my assignment.
I really need to know how a consumer can make a seller responsible for the lemon car and if legal action can be claimed if an accident occurs or the vehicle is no longer safe to drive.

For your research about "lemon laws", I suggest the All EBSCO database.  You can access this database from the Find Articles and More section of the Online Library.  Its link is towards the top of the list.

I recommend using the Advanced Search setting, and check the box for Full Text.  That will limit articles retrieved to be in fully readable.

Recommended search terms:

  • "lemon laws"
  • automobile OR car

Enter the terms as above.  The quotation marks bring back the exact phrase from the database.  The OR connector searches for either term within articles retrieved.
