Perspectiveson Parenting

Answer

To search for a journal article by author's name I would recommend one of the following databases:

  • All EBSCO
  • ProQuest Central

Access to the Databases:

  • Launch the Online Library
  • Click the Find Articles & More box
  • Click the All EBSCO link or the ProQuest Central link

Within All EBSCO:

  • Enter the author's name in the search box
  • Choose Author from the drop down menu (see highlighted below)
  • Be sure to click the Full Text box
  • Check the Peer Reviewed box if you need Peer Reviewed/Scholarly Journal articles.

Within ProQuest Central:

  • Choose the Advanced Search feature.
  • Enter the author's name in the search box
  • Choose Author from the drop down menu
  • Be sure to click the Full Text box
  • Check the Peer Reviewed box if you need Peer Reviewed/Scholarly Journal articles.

If you are looking for books by author:

  • Launch the Online Library
  • Click the Find Books & More box
  • Enter the Author's name within the Search Box

Thank you for contacting the Online Library.  If you have additional questions, please contact us again.
