Where can I locate chemical dependency treatment articles or journals

Thank you for contacting the library. You can find many articles about chemical dependency and treatment methods.
Click Find Articles & More on the Library home page. On the next screen, click Search All EBSCO databases. The next screen will contain three search boxes at the top. One suggested search is just to search for the keywords you mentioned: chemical dependency AND treatment AND effectiveness, one search term in each box. Then click Search.
Another search to try is a Subject Term search. Type substance abuse – treatment into the first search box. Then choose SU Subject Terms in the drop down menu after the search.
Try some searches with various keyword combinations. Think of synonyms for your terms. For example, chemical dependency can be entered as drug addiction, instead. You can also use the limiters on the left side of your results. For example, specify a date range or limit results to scholarly (peer reviewed) journals.
It may take some trial and error of entering different keywords in different combinations, but you should be able to get many results. If you still need more in-depth assistance with this topic, feel free to ask again.
