Hello i am looking for help in finding peer reviewed articles on cell phone use and its effects on vison, attention and memory
Answer
Thank you for contacting the library. You can find many articles about cell phone use and its effects on various forms of functioning.
Beneath the Library Search box, enter cell phone use and then click Search. This broad search will return a lot of results, so you will need to limit them. On the left side, click "Limit to articles from scholarly publications, including peer-review" or "Limit to articles from peer-reviewed publications," depending on which you would prefer. This is a first step to refining your results.
Now, you can add other search terms to the search box at the top. Some searches to try are: cell phone use and vision; cell phone use and distraction; cell phone use and attention; cell phone use and memory; cell phone use and multitasking; etc. You can experiment with different searches depending on which specific topic you would like to cover. Scan the results list for each search and find titles that look promising.
It may take some trial and error of entering different keywords in different combinations, especially since you are inquiring about many topics at once, but you should be able to get many results. If you still need more in-depth assistance with this topic, feel free to ask again.
Sincerely,
Laura Rice
