I need help in ways to do research for my assignment

I need help in locating information regarding the history and current issues surrounding liability in policing relations. potential risk for lawsuits and evaluations in use of force made by police.

Thank you for contacting the library.  Your question is multi-faceted so it might make sense to do a couple of different searches. 

On the library page, click the tab for Find Articles and More.  On the next screen, click the link for Search all EBSCO databases.  This will open a search page.  Enter search terms into the boxes.  Some searches to try are:  community policing; police AND community relations; police AND use of force; police AND use of force AND training; police training AND use of force; police AND use of force AND lawsuit.  Click Search each time you try a new combination to refresh the results.  You can experiment with different keywords and combinations, but no matter what you choose, you should get plenty of results with any of these searches. 

With each search, scan the results list for each search and find titles that look promising.  Click the PDF Full Text link with the result to open and read it.

It may take some trial and error, especially since you are inquiring about a few topics at once, but you should be able to get many results.  If you still need more in-depth assistance with this topic, feel free to ask again.
