I need help finding 3 peer reviewed on the Right to keep and bear arms

Answer

Thank you for contacting the library.

The Second Amendment states:  "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."  So, searching for the term Second Amendment is useful, but you certainly could search for right to keep and bear arms, too.  On the library page, look for the Library Search box.  Under Enter Search Term(s), type in Second Amendment, then hit Search.

On the next screen, you will see many results.  You mentioned that you need peer-reviewed articles.  To filter for these, check the box the appropriate peer-review selection on the left side of the results under Refine your search.

You can browse the list to look for promising titles.  Try similar searches such as right to keep and bear arms, right to bear arms, gun laws, etc.

It may take some trial but you should be able to get many results.  If you still need more in-depth assistance with this topic, feel free to ask again.

Sincerely,

Laura Rice
