Where can I find the American Educational Research Association in the Argosy online library?

My assignment is to find an article from the American Educational Research Association. I am unable to find this in the Argosy online library

Answer

Hi Michelle,

Thank you for contacting the library.

The American Educational Research Association publishes many different journals as listed at http://www.aera.net/Publications/Journals, including:

  • AERA Open
  • American Educational Research Journal
  • Educational Researcher
  • Review of Educational Research
  • Educational Evaluation and Policy Analysis
  • Journal of Educational and Behavioral Statistics
  • Review of Research in Education

To searrch for a journal in the Argosy Online Library:

  • Navigate to the Online Library home page
  • Click A-Z of Online Journals on the right hand side under Featured Resources.
  • Enter the title of the Journal in the Search Bar at the top.
  • Your results will show if the journal is available in full text, the sources, and the dates available.
    • For example, I searched for American Educational Research Journal and found it is available in full text from Sage Deep Backfile Package 2010 for dates 01/01/1964 - 01/01/1998.
  • To access articles from the journal, click on the link of the database.
  • On the database page, you can browse by issue/date of the publication for the article or you can type in keywords of the title in the search bar.

You can repeat these steps to search for the other journal titles you may need.

Please let us know if you have further questions.

Sincerely,
Argosy University Library
