I need an article describing research findings related to the hate crime and its victims
Answer
Hello, Karen.
Here is how you can find research articles about hate crime and its victims…
Go to the Library page. Click Find Articles. On the next screen, click the link for All EBSCO.
Now the search page will open. Enter your keywords into the search boxes at the top, each term separated by AND. Suggested searches include:
- Hate crimes AND victims
- Victims of hate crimes
- Victims of crimes
- Crime AND race
This is how it will look:
Make sure you also check the box for Scholarly (Peer Reviewed) Journals. This ensures that you will limit the articles to more research-oriented studies.
Click Search and results will load in the next screen. You should see plenty of relevant articles. A good way to come up with other searches is to look at the Subjects associated with articles that look promising. Use these Subjects to do more searches, especially if you want to narrow your topic. For example, you may want to focus on hate crimes with particular groups, such as ethnic, racial, gender, etc. If you see an article you like, click the Full Text link.
I hope these suggestions are helpful. Please let us know if you need additional assistance.
