One of the best places to go for an argumentative essay is SIRS Issues Researcher.  It has credible sources for pro/con issues.  Your topic about school uniforms is a topic it covers.

On the Library page, click Find Articles. 

In the list of databases, scroll down to SIRS Issues Researcher and click the link. 

Once in, type school uniforms into the search box and hit enter.

You  will get several results. You will see opposing Viewpoints and articles that support each.  As you scroll down, you will see various articles from different types of sources, like newspapers, reference sources, etc.  Click any link that looks relevant.

Besides going to SIRS Issues Researcher, you can do a general search of the literature in all databases.  On the Library page, enter your search terms into the Library Search box and hit enter.  In this case, I entered school uniforms and mandatory:

Your results will appear on the next page.  If you want to limit the results, use the filters on the left side of the screen.  You can limit to peer-reviewed, date of publication ,etc.
