i need articles on buddhism and muslim
Answer
Hi Sarah,
Thank you for contacting the library.
The Online Library has many different databases you can use to find articles on Buddhism and Islam (the religious practitioners of Islam are referred to as Muslim). The easiest way to find articles is to use the Online Library and the library databases searching by keyword terms.
From the Online Library, select the Find Articles and More icon and this will bring you to a list of all of our databases in alphabetical order (A-Z).
Scroll down to the R databases and click on the database Religion (ProQuest) and this will connect you to the database where you can enter keywords. The Religion ProQuest database will be a great resource for you when looking for research articles on religion.
On the database enter either religion Buddhism or Islam into the keyword search box and hit the magnifying glass to search for content.
For Buddhism in this database you will have over 3,500 results so you will want to use the refining tools on the left side of the database to narrow your search. The refining tools you will want to utilize the most will be: full text (only full articles with full text), peer reviewed (academic journal articles), and publication date (year article was published).
Just by narrowing your search through selecting full text, peer reviewed, and publication date (2012-2017) you will make your original search results on Buddhism from over 3,500 to only 524. These should be all articles you can go through to find research for your paper. You can also do the same thing by searching for Islam.
Try some of the keyword combinations below to find more articles on Buddhism and Islam:
Buddhism AND foundation
Buddhism AND origins
Buddhism AND history
Islam AND Muslim
Islam AND foundation
Islam AND history
Please let us know if you have any questions or need further assistance.
Thank You,
